LibreOffice is a free open-source provider of computer office software, notably a word processor, spreadsheets and a presentation maker.
It is something I have found very useful when working on a home computer. I use the word processor for creating documents for various purposes, often or printing, and the spreadsheet software for bookkeeping, and it all works very well, I can't say I have any complaints with it. It offers most of the same functionality as its paid alternatives.
In my observation having good free and open-source software is becoming increasingly important at a time when a lot of paid corporate software is becoming ever highly priced and moving towards subscription based payment models rather than offering the option to buy a copy of the product outright.
If like many you have found yourself working from home of late and would benefit from some free computer office software it's definitely worth giving LibreOffice a try.
It is available on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.
